# Compare the work. Then compare the price.

Authoritative page: https://denverheatingrepair.com/comparing-estimates.html

VisibilityReady™ demonstration created by Fat Wallet Internet Marketing. No heating services are provided.

## Make the proposals comparable

Two prices can represent very different work. Ask each provider to identify the same problem and explain how the proposed scope addresses it. A low equipment price is not a complete installation price.

## What a useful proposal should name

- The finding or design need, with the evidence supporting it.
- Equipment model and capacity, with a sizing basis when replacing.
- Duct, pipe, venting, control, and electrical work included.
- Applicable permits and which party handles them.
- Removal, disposal, protection of the home, and cleanup.
- Testing and commissioning included at completion.
- Diagnostic charges, exclusions, payment schedule, and change process.
- The actual provider’s written labor and manufacturer warranty terms.

## Three questions before approval

What has to be true for this recommendation to work? What useful equipment or distribution can stay? How will you demonstrate the result? Those answers make differences between proposals easier to assess.

## Check the provider behind the proposal

Verify applicable licensing and insurance independently, ask about experience with your system type, and read the actual written terms. This demonstration endorses no contractor, financing offer, warranty, or product.
